New footage has emerged of a rare public telling off of Prince William by The Queen. The public scolding in view of tens of thousands of observers and millions on TV shows Prince William orderd to “get up” by his grandmother as he kneels during a flypast in 2016. Standing on the balcony with the rest of the royal family, Prince William speaks to son Prince George, but the Queen appears to see the crouching as somewhat disrespectful and orders him to stand immediately.

Prince William is clearly talking to son George and pointing out the planes as they fly towards Buckinham Palace.

But he is crouching and is the only Royal doing so, a mere seconds before the RAF are due to fly over to mark the Trooping of the Colour.

The Queen looks down in dismay as he sees her son with his back turned to her and the crowd and decides to intervene.

When William turns around to talk to Kate and his brother Prince Harry, Her Majesty nudges touches his arm and appears to gesture to him to “stand up” or “get up”.

The Duke takes his grandmother’s advice and stands up immediately and appears rather sheepish as he comments and points out the RAF planes’ as they charge above Buckingham Palace.

The Queen can be seen smiling after he gets up from his crouched position, which she perhaps saw as a mark of disrespect to onlookers and the RAF.

The body language aspect of the Royal’s public appearences is clearly something The Queen places a lot of importance on.

And according to one body language expert, William has displayed his fatherly figure in various public events since the balcony incident.

He has also been seen preparing his eldest son Prince George to behave accordingly given he will be the future monarch.

Expert Judi James told Daily Star: “George holds hands with his parents to walk with them in a more mirrored way and he is usually shown holding his dad’s hand in a way that suggests William is keeping his son close while inducting him into his future royal role.”

It comes following reports by the Daily Mail newspaper on Saturday that Prince Harry has signed a contract with publishers to publish four new books in a deal thought to be worth $40million.

A source told the newspaper: “He conducted negotiations – he had a very ‘take it or leave it’ attitude,’ said an impeccably-placed source in the publishing industry. His starting price was $25million (£18million) and the final figure was way north of that, possibly as much as $35-40million (£25-29million).

“Those involved were actually very shocked by his approach, which was to look at them coldly and state his demands – $25million.”

They added: “People [will] start asking ‘what has he got, who is he going to target?’ The very idea of this unexploded bomb, hanging about waiting for the Queen to pass, is just extraordinary and may strike many as being in very bad taste.”

Prince Harry will publish his memoir next year during the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

But it has been revealed Harry will write two books while his wife Meghan Markle will pen ‘wellness book’, it is unclear what the fourth book will be about. On June 9, Meghan’s latest book ‘The Bench’ reached number 3 on Amazon’s’ USA bestsellers list and was number 1 in the Children’s Emotions books category.
