On Tuesday night, several members of the Royal Family attended the premiere of the latest James Bond film, No Time To Die. The James Bond movie franchise, of which there have been 25 films, is considered an icon of British cinema. So it’s unsurprising that members of the Royal Family often attend the London premiere every time a new film is released. Here are some of the best pictures of the Royal Family at James Bond premieres of years gone by.
A View to a Kill (1985)
A View to a Kill was Sir Roger Moore’s last performance in the iconic 007 role.
So for the film’s premiere in London, the Royal Family pulled out all the stops for the red carpet.
Prince Charles and his then-wife, Diana, Princess of Wales, were both in attendance for the event.
Charles looked very smart in a tuxedo, while Diana donned a show-stopper, floor-length silver gown.
Die Another Day (2002)
The Queen attended the London premiere of Die Another Day back in 2002.
The Queen met with then-Bond actor, Pierce Brosnan, as he waited in the traditional line of people hoping to greet the monarch.
The Queen also met pop star Madonna, who sang the eponymous theme song for the film.
Casino Royale (2006)
The Queen was present again at the London premiere of Casino Royale in 2006.
But this time, the film had a brand new actor playing the lead role of James Bond.
Casino Royale marked the first film of Daniel Craig’s run as the iconic British spy.
This premiere was held at the Odeon in Leicester Square.

Daniel Craig’s fourth Bond film, Spectre, premiered at the Royal Albert Hall in 2015.
In attendance this time were Kate, Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William.
The royal couple were joined by William’s brother, Prince Harry, as they walked the red carpet.
No Time To Die (2021)
After months of delays due to coronavirus, No Time To Die premiered at the Royal Albert Hall on Tuesday, September 28, 2021.
Prince Charles, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, Prince William and Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, were all in attendance for the spectacular event.
Kate wore a breath-taking gold Jenny Packham sequined gown for the occasion, and Camilla wore a pale blue Bruce Oldfield dress.
No Time To Die marks Daniel Craig’s last appearance as James Bond after five films.
