Two children under 10 have died with Strep A in Scotland since October

According to Public Health Scotland, two children under the age of 10 have died as a result of Strep A in Scotland. The organisation added it was aware of seven deaths among the invasive group A streptococcal infections (iGAS) cases between October 3 and December 25, of which two were aged under 10.
