Many snow-loving canines couldn’t get enough of the freezing temperatures and were filmed having the time of their lives in the snow. From zoomies to eating the ice, owners took to social media to share footage of the hilarious antics.

The loveable clips of the playful pups making the most of the winter weather were shared on  Twitter.

They ranged from Cilla the Labradoodle who was video having a good roll through the snow in the East Midlands, to black Lab Winston who was bounding down an icy road in Moray, Scotland.

In Sheffield, it was poodle bichon frise cross breed Arthur’s first time seeing snow.

Following the initial cursory sniff the pup seemed to love it, as a cute clip filmed by owner Alexis shows him leaping through the snow before casting a look up at the sky in disbelief.

Elsewhere in Sheffield, Ben the border collie didn’t let a bit of cold weather put him off his usual tricks, as a clip shows him digging out a massive stick from the snow and proudly carrying it away.

Aptly-named poodle Penguin seemed to have endless energy reserves in the East Midlands, as a video posted by his owner Teresa shows the hyper dog racing around in the fresh snowfall.

While up in Scotland Labradors Albert and Bera saw the dusting of white as more of a tasty snack than a playground, seen eagerly snaffling up snowballs that their owner tosses them.

It wasn’t just this side of the pond that saw the weather turn over the weekend ‑ dogs across the world were united in their love of snow.

Golden retriever Gracie enjoyed a chilly roll in the snow in Ontario, Canada, and chihuahuas Niko and Milo were filmed by their owner Cheyanne enjoying their first ever snowfall in Toronto.

Golden retriever Lloyd may win the prize for the most enthusiasm though ‑ seeing the snow over in Michigan, US, sent the pup spinning in excited circles.
