Two teenagers, aged 15 and 16, have been charged with the murders of 16-year-olds Charlie Bartolo and Kearne Solanke.
The pair died just a mile apart in south-east London, the Metropolitan Police said.
Kearne was knifed in Titmuss Avenue, Thamesmead, and Charlie was found in Sewell Road, Abbey Wood, on Saturday.
The Metropolitan Police said a 16-year-old boy had been arrested on Tuesday and a 15-year-old boy later in the day.
They will appear in custody at Bromley Magistrates’ Court today charged with the murders.
The Met were called at about 5.10pm on Saturday to reports that people had been injured at both locations.
Both youths were pronounced dead.
Heartbroken loved ones paid their respects to Mr Bartolo online, posting: ‘Rest in peace my beautiful angel. You was taken way to soon I miss you forever and always your my whole world. See you again soon my baby’.
Another said: ‘I love you brother, I miss you so much I said I was gonna come see you this weekend. I’ll make sure to see you soon, you’ll be missed by many!’
Floral tributes were laid in memory of both victims close to where they were fatally wounded.
Anyone with information should call police on 101, giving the reference 4943/26NOV, or Crimestoppers, anonymously, by calling 0800 555 111.
Detectives from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command are investigating, the force said.
