Heavy, persistent rains hit the region again this week after last week’s flooding saw one woman killed and thousands left with flooded homes. Train and road travel remains severely disrupted, while the army has been sent it to help reinforce flood barriers and assist residents however they can.
On Thursday and into Friday, hundreds of schools shut their doors due to the flooding.
Regions with closures include Worcestershire, Warwickshire, Herefordshire, Shropshire, Leamington and Kenilworth.

You’ll be asked to enter your postcode, which will direct you to your local council’s website which holds all the up-to-date closure information.
