UK ticket holder scoops £111m EuroMillions jackpot

EuroMillions lottery winners Joe and Jess Thwaite revealed

Time to run and check that Euromillions ticket, folks — a UK resident has scooped a £110m jackpot.

According to national lottery company Camelot, one British ticket-holder has won £111.7m in tonight’s EuroMillions draw.

The organisers are now urging people to check their tickets to see if they hold the ticket containing the magic numbers from Friday’s draw.

The winning numbers are 03, 12, 15, 25, 43 and the Lucky Stars are 10 and 11.

Comapred with celebrities in the Sunday Times Rich List, the winner will be richer than footballer Harry Kane (£51 million), actor Daniel Radcliffe (£92 million) and singer Dua Lipa (£75m).

Andy Carter, senior winners’ adviser at the National Lottery, told Sky News: “What a fantastic night for UK EuroMillions players, as a single ticket-holder has scooped tonight’s special £111.7m EuroMillions jackpot.

“Players are urged to check their tickets and to give us a call if they think they are tonight’s lucky winner.”

Once claimed, the lucky winner will join just a small number of UK players to join the elite £100m jackpot club in the EuroMillions jackpot.

In July last year, an anonymous UK ticket-holder won a record jackpot of £195m.
