Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are just a few days away from celebrating their first wedding anniversary, with the pair tying the knot on July 17 last year. The happy couple are now expecting their first child together.
Like many members of the Royal Family, Beatrice and Edoardo made an appearance at Wimbledon this week.
On Thursday, Beatrice and Edoardo stepped out to catch a match at the famous tournament and they were seated in the Royal Box.
Beatrice’s aunt Sophie, Countess of Wessex, was also present in the Royal Box and was seated nearby.
Beatrice showed off her baby bump in a polka dot dress with puffed sleeves, while Edoardo wore a suit for the occasion.
When is Princess Beatrice’s baby due?
Buckingham Palace announced back in May 2021 that Princess Beatrice is expecting a baby with Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.
Although an exact due date wasn’t outlined, the couple are expecting their bundle of joy to arrive in the autumn.
A statement read: “Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are very pleased to announce that they are expecting a baby in autumn of this year.
“The Queen has been informed and both families are delighted with the news.”
Where will Princess Beatrice’s baby be in the line of succession?
Princess Beatrice is the eldest daughter of the Queen’s second son, Prince Andrew, and Sarah, Duchess of York.
Up until recently, Princess Beatrice was ninth in line to the throne.
However, Beatrice is now tenth in line to the throne following the birth of Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex’s daughter Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor last month.

When Beatrice and Edoardo welcome their baby in the autumn, the baby will be 11th in line to the throne.
Princess Beatrice’s baby will also be the Queen’s 12th great-grandchild.
Princess Beatrice’s baby will have a cousin too, as Beatrice’s sister Princess Eugenie welcomed her first child earlier this year.
Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank welcomed their son August Philip Hawke Brooksbank on February 9.
Where did Beatrice and Edoardo marry?
Beatrice married Edoardo at a small private ceremony at The Royal Chapel of All Saints in the grounds of the Royal Lodge, Windsor.
The couple had planned to marry in May at the Chapel Royal in the grounds of St James’s Palace.
The wedding was also planned to be followed by a private reception at Buckingham Palace, hosted by Beatrice’s grandmother, the Queen.
However, the wedding had to be postponed due to the coronavirus lockdown.
