The video, for the Brightly Storytime channel on YouTube, shows Meghan reading from her own children’s book, The Bench, which the duchess published in June. In the video, she says: “I wrote this as a poem for my husband and our son Archie and then turned it into a book so you can enjoy it too.” Meghan has said that the book was inspired by a short poem that she wrote for Prince Harry’s first Father’s Day after the birth of their son Archie in 2019.

Meghan Markle’s new video promoting her children’s book “needs a trigger warning,” saysSky News Australia host Rowan Dean.

He said: “Update on the ginger and the whinger, the Duchess of Sussex has appeared in a new video spruiking her new children’s book.”

“Another very public arm to the empire, but they still say they deserve their basic right to privacy.”

“I have to say, what sort of friend would inflict on their mate, having to spend three minutes watching that garbage from Meghan Markle.”
