‘Avatar’ Experience Coming To Disneyland

Disney CEO Bob Iger said a new attraction based on the Avatar franchise will hit Disneyland soon.

He called it the Avatar Experience and said details will be “coming soon” –not providing any.

But he noted the obvious, that Avatar is now a core franchise for the company, “which has a way of leveraging success” across business and across territories.

James Cameron’s Avatar: The Way Of Water has grossed over $2 billion internationally.

Sonoco Products (SON) announced earnings for its fourth quarter that increased from last year

The company’s earnings came in at $97 million, or $0.98 per share. This compares with $65 million, or $0.66 per share, in last year’s fourth quarter.

Excluding items, Sonoco Products reported adjusted earnings of $125 million or $1.27 per share for the period.

The company’s revenue for the quarter rose 16.7% to $1.68 billion from $1.44 billion last year.

Excluding items, Sun Life Financial Inc. reported adjusted earnings of C$990 million or C$1.69 per share for the period.

Delivery Hero Q4 Segment Revenues Up 21% YoY; GMV Up 9% – Quick Facts

Delivery Hero SE (DHER.DE DLVHF.OB) reported that its fourth quarter total segment revenues increased to 2.53 billion euros from 2.10 billion euros, prior year. GMV increased by 9% to 11.4 billion euros in the fourth quarter 2022.

The company improved its adjusted EBITDA/GMV margin by 3 percentage points to a negative 0.3% in the quarter.

The company ended fiscal 2022 with a cash balance of 2.4 billion euros.

Looking ahead, the company confirmed its adjusted EBITDA/GMV margin, as well as free cash flow guidance for fiscal 2023. The company also remains committed to reaching free cash flow break-even during the second half of 2023.

CompuGroup Medical FY22 Adj. Earnings, Margin Down; Sees Organic Revenue Growth In FY23

CompuGroup Medical (CMPVF.PK), an e-health provider, reported Thursday that its fiscal 2022 adjusted earnings per share amounted to 1.80 euros, compared to 1.95 euros a year ago.

Adjusted EBITDA reached 234 million euros, a growth of 4 percent year-on-year, while adjusted EBITDA margin fell to 20.7 percent from prior year’s 21.9 percent.

Group revenues increased 10 percent to 1.13 billion euros from previous year’s 1.03 billion euros last year. Organic revenue growth – i.e. adjusted for consolidation and currency effects, stood at 4.1 percent. Adjusted for the 2021 TI connector software upgrade, organic revenue growth amounted to 6.3 percent.

Looking ahead for fiscal 2023, CompuGroup Medical anticipates group revenues to grow by around 5 percent organically. CGM expects an adjusted EBITDA in the range of 260 million euros to 300 million euros.

The company said its 2023 guidance shows significant progress towards mid-term ambitions.
