Country superstar Tim McGraw is writing a book on his health and lifestyle.
The book, titled Grit & Grace: Train the Mind, Train the Body, Own Your Life, will be released on November 5.
McGraw said during a TV show years ago that his drinking was creating problems in his career and his family life.
“I’ve gone through a physical transformation in the last 10 years, but it’s not just my appearance that’s changed,” McGraw told People. “My mind is clearer, my sense of purpose is sharper and my relationships are deeper.”
“Consistent physical exercise helps me bring focus to my life and to the people who mean the most to me,” he added.
After he gave up drinking and began working out twice a day a decade ago, McGraw lost 40 pounds.
