Nigel Farage faces fury over an obnoxious rant about the Duchess of Sussex and the Queen Mum.
In a sneering rant, he claimed Prince Harry has changed for the worse since meeting wife Meghan.
The Brexit Party leader reportedly told a right-wing meeting in Australia that Harry, 34, had “fallen off a cliff” in his new life with the ex-US actress.
In his latest attack on Britain while appearing overseas, he also ridiculed Prince Charles for speaking out about climate change – and even had harsh words about the late Queen Mother.
Lashing out at the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, he reportedly told the Conservative Political Action Conference in Sydney, Australia: “Here was Harry… this young, brave, boisterous, all-male, getting into trouble, turning up at stag parties inappropriately dressed, drinking too much and causing all sorts of mayhem, and then, a brave British officer who did his bit in Afghanistan.
“He was the most popular royal of a younger generation that we’ve seen for 100 years.
“Then he met Meghan Markle , and it’s fallen off a cliff.”
He also allegedly ridiculed Harry’s vow that he and Meghan, 38, will have a maximum of two children for the sake of the planet.
He said: “We’re completely ignoring the real problem the Earth faces… the fact the population of the globe is exploding but no one dares talk about it, no one dares deal with it.
“Whether Prince Harry has two kids is irrelevant, given there are 2.6 billion Chinese and Indians on Earth.”
And hinting that he hoped Prince Charles would never become king, he said: “When it comes to Charlie Boy and climate change – oh dear.
“The Queen’s mother was a slightly overweight, chain-smoking gin drinker who lived to 101 years old.
Charlie Boy is now in his 70s… may the Queen live a very, very long time.”
Farage repeated some of his comments on Sky News Australia’s Outsiders programme.
Recalling an encounter with Prince Charles in 2008, he said: “He came to the European Parliament to tell us that within seven years the polar ice cap would disappear completely.
“At the end of his speech, I refused to stand. All I can say about the Queen and his succession is this: the Queen Mother was a chain-smoking gin-drinker who did not look after herself at all and lived to 101.
“The Queen is 93 and looks fit. May she reign for a very long time.”
His bizarre outburst was widely condemned yesterday as critics questioned his patriotism.
Senior Labour MP Stephen Doughty said: “With his vile comments about the Royal Family, laced with barely concealed racism, Farage yet again shows his true colours. He’s a pound shop fascist who only drapes himself in the British flag when it suits.
