‘Beautiful’ hairdresser dies after suffering mystery seizures on camping trip

A fun kind-hearted "beautiful" hairdresser died after she suffered a series of mysterious seizures while on a camping trip with her boyfriend.

Marsha Heslop, 27, had embarked on a camping holiday with boyfriend Owen Pringle, 28, in the north of Scotland when she suddenly became sick.

The couple had been together for three years and had just reunited after seven months apart due to Owen's army duties, Chronicle Live reports.

Heartbroken Owen said he knew Marsha "wasn't herself" and drove her to hospital where she was immediately placed in an induce coma.

After a four-week battle, Marsha tragically died, leaving her tight-knit circle of family and friends completely devastated.

As a thank you to intensive care staff at Newcastle's Royal Victoria Infirmary, her family are trying to raise £12,000 via a GoFundMe to give to the "compassionate, professional, dedicated, warm-hearted" medics.

In a statement, her family said: "Marsha was a beautiful, stunning, young girl full of life with a bubbly personality," they said in a statement.

"She was always smiling; funny and caring she had a radiance and a presence about her where ever she went. She was one of a kind."

Owen said Marsha had been "so special" and he would have done "anything for her," adding that he planned to marry her in 2021.

Owen told ChronicleLive: "I just adored her. I would have done anything for her.

"I really would have done anything for her as she was so special.

"I believe she was put on this planet to change the life of everyone and anyone around her."
