As Denver continues to dig out from the historic weekend storm that dropped more than 2 feet across the metro area, more snow is on the way Tuesday.
There’s a 30% chance for snow showers after 3 p.m. today. The chance for snow increases to 60% this evening with less than half an inch of accumulation expected, according to the National Weather Service.
A dense fog is lingering Tuesday morning, prompting a dense fog advisory for the metro area until 10 a.m. It is forecast to remain mostly cloudy today with a high of 35 degrees. The low will be 24 degrees.

The rest of the week will see a more spring-like warm up. Wednesday’s high should hit 40 degrees under sunny skies, dropping to 21 at night with slight north winds.
Thursday will continue the warming trend, the NWS said. A high of 48 and a low of 27 is predicted.
Friday will be even warner, hitting 56 degrees during the day and falling to 33 at night. Saturday is expected to be the warmest day of the week with a high of nearly 60 degrees. The rest of the weekend brings more chances for rain and snow, the NWS reports.
