Denver will have a warm and sunny start to the week before rain and possibly snow moves into the area Monday night.

The region will see sunny skies with a high of 65 degrees Sunday, and Monday will be even warmer, with a high of 69 degrees, according to the National Weather Service at Boulder.

No more than an inch of accumulation is expected, forecasters said. Tuesday will bring an about 40% chance of snow before the weather warms up again.

Temps are expected to hit the mid-50s on Wednesday and continue climb through the end of the week, reaching a high of 74 degrees on Saturday.
