The former US president was spotted with wife Melania and son Barron as they walked through a restaurant terrace. In footage uploaded to Instagram, diners can be seen giving the Trump family a standing ovation.

Some guests at the club rose to their feet and cheered, while one person is heard shouting “Mr President”.

The 45th president and his family relocated to the Florida resort in January following their White House exit as Joe Biden took over.

Mr Trump has not confirmed his next career move but commentators believe a 2024 Presidential election may be on the cards.

The former president hinted he “might decide to beat them again” in a speech during the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in February.

For now, Mr Trump and his wife have set up a page on 45office.com, his official website, where they can be contacted for event appearances.

The website reads: “Thank you for your interest in inviting Donald J Trump or Melania Trump to participate in your event.

“In an effort to ensure that your invitation is received in a timely manner, it is strongly recommended that you submit your request using the form below.”

A disclaimer on the site also states that application status updates will not be provided due to the high volume of requests.

Mr Trump’s supporters can also request a greeting from himself and the former First Lady for a “special occasion”.

Recently, the former president’s daughter-in-law confirmed her interest in the North Carolina seat in the US Senate, suggesting she might follow Mr Trump’s footsteps in pursuing a political career.

Lara Trump said last month she is “absolutely” still considering running for the top job, something she would have to face Rep Mark Walker for.

The post is currently held by Senator Richard Burr – who in 2016 expressed his wish to retire.

Ms Trump made the assertion during an interview with Fox News’ host Sean Hannity, who asked her: “Quick question. Exit question.

“Still considering a run for Senate, in North Carolina, your home state?”

Eric Trump’s wife responded: “Always your exit question, Sean. Yes, I am still considering it, absolutely.”
