The driver connected to a fatal hit-and-run crash in Wheat Ridge has been found and the case has been turned over to the Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office, police said.
On the night of Sept. 29, 56-year-old Carmen Cennamo fell off of the sidewalk and into the roadway at West 41st Avenue and Kipling Street, police said. Cennamo, who used a walker, was hit by a vehicle. The driver did not stop. Cennamo later died at a local hospital.
