Former WWE star CJ Perry has revealed that her plans to start an OnlyFans account led to a rift with husband Miroslav Barnyashev – better known to wresting fans as AEW's Miro.

During her recent appearance on Renee Paquette's The Sessions, CJ explained that Miro had not been happy with her posting explicit photos and videos online as the reason she opened a BrandArmy account.

“Actually, nudity is not allowed on BrandArmy,” she said, “so Miro didn’t really feel comfortable with me doing OnlyFans and Miro’s very traditional, and very like perception person, and I’m the opposite.”

But CJ says she thought that they would be missing out on a significant amount of income by not putting her photos on a subscription platform.

The 37-year-old from Gainesville, Florida, whose real name is Catherine Joy Perry, was let go by WWE last summer and has been working on up new ways to make money, having previously flogged her ring gear

“I have just kind of accepted that I cannot make everybody happy and love me.," CJ added. "While with him, there’s a part of him that cares. But I think there was just a big part of money-making that we were missing out, so I’m really glad we found this compromise.”

The couple found some sort of compromise with BrandArmy content and the are very much still together.

She replied: "Definitely! I can’t wait to share some of the hilarious things of Miro".

"The page will be letting into our world and sharing things that have never been seen before from the past nine years from being on the road to our daily lives and very intimate moments.," CJ said.

She added that the page would also let her "connect with all of you [fans] in a more intimate way."

After CJ left WWE in June 2021, the organisation wished her well with her "future endeavours,", but she has not joined another promotion on a full-time basis.

There had been reports CJ could have returned to the ring to fight Lina Fanene, known as Nia Jax in WWE, for a new promotion called Wrestling Entertainment Series (WES).

However, the promotion, created by former WWE stars The Authors of Pain, now now as the Legion of Pain, has been dogged with issues leading to shows being cancelled.
