Girl, 5, found dead in home as mum charged with murder and human trafficking

A mum has been branded a "monster" after her five-year-old daughter was allegedly found raped and killed inside an abandoned home in America.

Kristy Siple has been charged with murder and human trafficking following the death of her daughter Kamarie Holland on December 13.

The 35-year-old was arrested in Columbus, Georgia on Tuesday after she reported her daughter missing in the early hours of the morning.

She allegedly told police that she woke up and discovered that Kamarie had vanished and said that she had found the front door was slightly open at the time, reports The Sun.

It has been reported that she tragically died from asphyxiation and had also been sexually assaulted before she was found dead in an empty property in Phoenix City, Alabama.

Her mother was charged with three counts of felony murder with kidnapping, sodomy and rape of Kamarie as well as first-degree human trafficking, according to WRBL.

Siple is the second person to be arrested following the little girl's death and follows Jeremy Williams, 37, who was arrested two weeks before.

Williams, had once lived at the property where Kamarie's body was found, and has since been charged with capital murder and was accused of kidnapping her.

Authorities confirmed that the pair had a previous relationship, however did not go into details about the nature of their connection.

The little girl's father Corey Holland, has since released a heartbreaking statement that read: "The amount of pain Kristy has caused by ripping Kamarie out of our lives will never cease.

"We are glad to see that she has been arrested. We are one step closer to justice for Kamarie.

"It's our hope that justice is served. Kristy should receive whatever the maximum penalty she can get."

He added: "A real mother protects and would die for her children. Kristy is a monster.

"My family and I will continue to wrestle with the loss of losing our angel Kamarie.

"We will ask that you continue to make your news about her and the justice she deserves."
