Heartbreaking words of Nicola Bulley’s daughter when she spots helicopter search

The daughter of missing mum Nicola Bulley has had her heartbreaking words heard after the youngster spotted helicopters overhead searching for the mum-of-two.

Nicola, 45, has been missing since Friday, January 27, after dropping her children off at school and heading off to walk her dog in St Michael's on Wyre, Lancashire.

There has since been no trace of the mum-of-two, with the week-long search continuing to try and locate the mum, whose daughter had six heartbreaking words when spotting a search party.

Nicola's youngster Sophia, six, could be heard in a video recently published and saying that the helicopters overhead were "looking for Mummy."

Her six words, "them helicopters, they're looking for mummy", was captured in a video shared with Sky News, with the six-year-old spotting the overhead helicopters.

Comments from the youngster come as the search for missing mum Nicola enters its 10th day, with friends of the family doing their best to protect them from "cruel and unhelpful" individuals.

An unnamed friend of the family blasted armchair detectives and psychics claiming to know what had happened to Nicola.

Daily Star previously reported that a friend of the family was furious that some were claiming to have knowledge of the mortgage advisor's disappearance.

She said that it was "very distressing for friends and family" to read "cruel and unhelpful" accounts from those who claim to have knowledge of the incident.

Police are certain that Ms Bulley, whose phone was found logged into a work conference at the scene of the disappearance, had not left the area.

Superintendent Riley said that investigating officers are "as sure as can be" that the mum-of-two did not leave the area and that the 45-year-old "may have fallen in" while walking the family dog, Willow.

Investigations into the disappearance continue, with Lancashire Police offered the services of the Specialist Group International just days after it was claimed the group had refused to lend a hand, The Sun reported.
