Joe Biden brands Vladimir Putin ‘killer’ and vows he will ‘pay price’ for US election

During an explosive interview, Mr Biden revealed his administration is preparing a response to any acts from the Russain government to aid Donald Trump’s election campaign. In an incredible admission, when asked if he believed Vladimir Putin was “a killer”, the President agreed with the TV host. During the interview, Mr Biden also revealed a conversation with the Russian President where he claimed Putin did not have a soul. 

In the interview with ABC News host George Stephanopoulos, Mr Biden stated he had previously warned Moscow ver any interference in US elections. 

He added: “He will pay a price. We had a long talk, he and I.

“I know him relatively well and the conversation started off, I said, ‘I know you and you know me. If I establish this occurred then be prepared’.

“The price he’s going to pay, well, you’ll see shortly.”

Mr Biden’s comments come as Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines, release a report claiming Russia did authorise an influence campaign in the US. 

The report states a plan had been hatched to damage Mr Biden’s election hopes and comes after alleged Russian interference in the 2016 election. 

It added the campaign was used as a ploy to push narratives aimed at discrediting Mr Biden in the lead up to the election. 

Mr Biden added: “It was when President Bush said he looked in his Putin’s eyes and saw his soul.

“I said, ‘I looked in your eyes and I don’t think you have a soul.’

“He looked back and said, ‘We understand each other’.”

“The most important thing in dealing with foreign leaders in my experience and dealt with an awful lot over my career is just know the other guy.”
