Monday's London weather forecast — dry, sunny start after early frost but getting cloudier with showers

COLD at first with a slight frost in places. A dry start to the morning with sunshine, but gradually getting cloudier from the west with scattered showers. Maximum Temperature 12 °C.

Largely dry Tuesday through to Thursday, with some days cloudier than others but bright or sunny spells in between. Increasing chance of overnight mist or fog patches, but turning noticeably warmer.

UK outlook for Monday March 18 to Sunday March 31

A CHILLY start for most, bright in the east but cloudy in the west with rain and drizzle. Clouding over later with some showers possible and feeling cold.

It stays cloudy on Monday in western parts with outbreaks of drizzly rain. These turn persistent across the northwest through to Tuesday, where brisk winds come in. Unsettled weather to keep until Thursday in the northwest. Most central and eastern parts will be dry with sunny spells during this period, once fog patches clear. Becoming warmer for most.

The south to remain largely dry and settled from Friday to the end of the period, and perhaps quite warm at times in central and eastern parts, which get the best of the drier and brighter weather.

However, unsettled conditions in the far north and northwest, where wet and windy weather is more likely.

Temperatures roughly around the average for the time of year, with warmer spells in the south when the sun shines. In the north it may be rather cold, with a risk of some overnight frost at times.
