Pitbull named ‘Nazi’ ‘violently’ mauls owner over jealousy of feeding other dog

An unfortunately-named dog inspired by one of the world's most murderous regimes has mauled and seriously injured its owner.

Nazi, a pit bull, launched into a frenzied on its owner in the Nakhon Rachasima province of north east Thailand on Sunday (September 18).

Emergency services were called to the attack at a two-storey house in the Mueang district, where the 60-year-old owner of the Hitler-themed dog was found near the own who was lying on the floor in a pool of blood.

She was found outside the apartment with bite wounds in his neck and upper arm after the dog became jealous that its own was feeding a stray.

Officials called the injuries “gaping wounds which bled heavily”.

Nazi's owner was given treatment at the scene before being taken to hospital – her condition is unknown at this time.

The women's husband managed to trap the dog inside the house, although reports claim it was still “acting violently”.

Her husband said: ”Nazi wouldn’t let go of my wife and I had to use an iron rod to pry him from her body.”

The dog, six-years-old, has been raised by the couple since it was a puppy.

Nobody has commented on the name of the dog, and local reports claim that neighbours had frequently helped to look after it over the years.

Local woman Duangduan Rodya alerted the emergency services to the incident after hearing screaming from the home.

She checked on the woman to find blood “pouring” from her as the dog continued to attack her.

However, Ms Rodya has now claimed that she will not be looking after the dog again.

Local police has yet to comment on the shocking attack, and the fate of the dog is, as yet, unknown.

The name of the dog in Thailand might not be a shock, as the country's people has a fascination with Nazi culture and imagery.

A Nazi-themed restaurant in Bangkok was opened in 2013 called Hitler Fried Chicken.
