A Rangers fan was rushed to hospital with half their hand “missing” after a firework they were holding exploded, reports claim.
The Scottish city of Glasgow erupted in celebration this weekend as Rangers F.C. were crowned winners of the 55th Scottish league on Saturday.
The team – who are managed by Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard – enjoyed their first unbeaten season since 1899, with a 4-0 win over Aberdeen sealing their victory and place in the history books.
Rangers fans were understandably in high spirits as the cup was raised – with celebrations taking place across the city all weekend, despite continued Covid-19 lockdown measures being in place.
However, one lad was said to be left needing medical treatment after getting injured during the celebrations.
According to the Record, one man arrived at the accident and emergency department of a Glasgow hospital: "missing half his hand".
It is reported he lost half his limb after a firework he was holding blew up while in his hand.

On Friday night, the banks of the Clyde were turned red when hundreds of Rangers supporters lined up to light flares in a lockdown-defying celebration of the team’s then-impending victory.
And after the squad romped to success on Saturday, scenes of celebration were recorded in Glasgow’s George Square as supporters gathered en mass to drink, sing, and let off further flares and fireworks.

But any authority they had was diminished in the eyes of many Scots after the pair saluted large crowds for gathering in a Covid hotspot area of Glasgow earlier in the week to obstruct the legal removal of two illegal immigrants from a property.
The Scottish politicians have been brutally mocked on social media this weekend as they appeared to flip-flop over the urgency of Covid rules depending on the reason for large gatherings.
While the Rangers celebrations were condemned, huge crowds gathering for a pro-Palestinian rallies were not.
One unimpressed Scot hit out at Nicola on Twitter on Sunday, writing: “Nicola Sturgeon does not want to treat everyone equally under the law. This week she has shown beyond doubt there is one law for some groups and one for others. Funny how it always falls against Unionist voters and supports Nationalists. Isn't it?”
