Shamed DJ Tim Westwood investigated by police over sixth report of 'sexual offences' | The Sun

POLICE are investigating former DJ Tim Westwood over a sixth report of alleged sexual offences, it was reported last night.

The allegations are claimed to have taken place between 1982 and 2016. There has been no arrest by London’s Met.

It comes two weeks after former Radio 1 star Westwood, 65, was questioned for a third time under police caution.

At the time, five offences were said to be involved.

Last year, the BBC and The Guardian uncovered serious sexual misconduct allegations by 18 women. Westwood denied them.

The DJ, who also worked on BBC Radio 1Xtra, was accused of predatory and unwanted behaviour and touching between 1992 and 2017.

An external report, by KC Gemma White, looking at what the BBC did and did not know about Westwood’s conduct during his two-decade employment with the corporation is due to be published this year.
