SPOOKS pounced on a British Embassy worker suspected of being a Russian spy amid fears he was on the brink of trading more secrets.
Security guard David Smith, 57, was seized at his one-bed flat after months of surveillance.

Books on Soviet Russia and Nazi Germany were found at the home in Potsdam, Germany.
Experts were trawling data on his computer.
The ex-RAF man and air steward — dumped by his Ukrainian wife in February — has appeared in court and faces up to ten years’ jail if convicted of espionage.
His family in Ayr refused to comment.
