Transgender woman ‘caught asking for sex with girl, 9, in front of child’s mum’

A transgender woman has been jailed for five-and-a-half years after suggesting to a mum that her nine-year-old daughter joined in with them while they were having sex.

Tiane Miller, 49, did not realise that she was actually sending the sickening propositions by text to child exploitation unit detectives in October 2021.

The remarks were made while Miller was on bail and facing charges for previous text messages she had sent to a police officer who was posing as a 14-year-old girl.

She was given her prison sentence at Sydney Downing Centre District Court in Australia on Thursday.

The latest messages were sent to the undercover detectives via the Chatiw app.

In one, she wrote: "Maybe you and I get naughty in front of her (the child) and then head to the bedroom. Tell her if she wants to be in the room to get naked too."

Having arranged to meet the "mother and her child" at a train station, she was then arrested there by police, who also found that she had lingerie in her possession that would fit a child.

In the text messages that she thought she was sending to a 14-year-old girl three months earlier, Miller sent a picture of her chest and penis after telling the police officer that she had "boobs and a c**k".

She also offered to pick the "girl" up from a train station and texted: "We could do plenty of fun things naked and you could still be a virgin… you could try sucking it."

When asked what they could do together, Miller also replied: "Kiss and touch you down there, make you horny and wet and touch your nipples."

She also added that they would need to keep everything a secret with messages being exchanged for 20 days.

The court went on to hear that Miller messaged a third underage girl and asked if she could meet her at her home when her mother was out at work.

Miller pleaded guilty to sending indecent material to a person under the age of 16, as well as other charges related to procurement for sexual activity and grooming.

The court also heard that she was on methamphetamine at the time of her offending and had been on a mental health disability pension for 20 years.

Miller said in court that she wants to be a productive member of society and was remorseful, arguing that she had been over-exposed to taboo themes online.

Judge Mark Marian countered that he doubted her remorse because her offending carried on while she was on bail and demonstrated a "depraved" intent.
