Wilko slashes price of giant kids’ playhouse by £388 in time for Black Friday

A huge kids' playhouse has seen its priced slashed for Black Friday.

The Shire Crib Shiplap Playhouse, which is bigger than some one-bedroom flats as it measures seven by eight metres, was priced at the eye-watering £1,110 by Wilko.

But the price has been whacked down to just £721.50 – a massive saving of £388.50.

And, to make it even sweeter, you can spread the cost of payments across three months, making it just £240.33.

The giant wooden house, which really would be ever kids dream, has everything; a lounge, a bedroom and a garage with double doors – what more could a child need.

We're assuming the garage is for a small, replica car – not an actual, full-size one, however.

There is plenty of room for children and toys in the spacious playhouse, which is made from high-grade, FSC-approved, Northern European pine shiplap boards.

The joinery-made windows – of which there are three at the front – and doors are all mortice and tenon joints.

The building has a sturdy 34mm square framing, and the roof and floor are both tongue and groove. Thankfully, it also complies with high-end safety standards and carries the CE mark.

It is delivered in a honey brown base coat treatment ready for painting with your choice of topcoat following installation – but let's face it, it's only ever going to get painted bright pink.

Surprisingly, it only costs £4.95 for delivery, with the first slots available on or before Tuesday, December 6.

But before you rush off to your nearest branch of Wilko, the playhouse is only available online.

It is also available slightly cheaper, thanks to a £409 discount at Robert Dyas.

They're selling it for £710.99, with free delivery, and payments can also be spread out through Klarna at £53.33 per month across a full year.

However, despite being a little cheaper, you would have to wait longer for delivery, as they don't have any free slots until Thursday, December 15.
